Fees
For the first six sessions, my fee is $280.00. Beyond those six sessions, the rate may be negotiable and will generally be $250.00. Medicare currently reimburses $141.85 of the invoice fee. However, for those who have received their Medicate “cut off” or “safety net”, most of your invoice will be reimbursed by Medicare (around $25.00 appears to be usual amount required to be paid out of pocket.)
Please note that Medicare currently only funds ten sessions each calendar year.
Psychology services
DVA, DCJ, Worker’s Comp
Some psychological services do not require the patient to make a contribution to the cost of the service. These services relate to:
Insurance claims where the insurer has approved treatment. Please have a claim number before making the first appointment.
Patients who have been approved by the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA). Please have a claim number before making the first appointment.
Patients funded through the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).
In the above situations, I will invoice the agency directly. I am an accredited provider of workers’ compensation, DVA and DCJ claims.
As supervision is not a psychological service, it is not exempt from GST. My fees range from $200.00 to the full APS rate (which is currently $311.00) with the fee varying depending on whether a third paying is for the supervision. Please contact me to discuss fees.

How to pay
I do not have credit card facilities. I accept payment via EFTPOS transfer, cash or cheque. Payment should be made on the day of the appointment. My invoice for payment will allow the patient to recover the Medicare contribution directly from Medicare. With the Medicare App, reimbursement should take place within 48 hours.
