Supervision

Specialised training and experience

I provide supervision services to a range of professionals, including psychologists. In the area of psychological supervision, I provide supervision to psychologists completing their Clinical Masters, and to practising psychologists (both early and later career). I also draw from my previous work experience as a lawyer in employment law, and in legal and non-legal management. Notably, I provided management consultant services to various governmental bodies and corporations throughout Australia for eight years.

I am an accredited supervisor for psychologists with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. I have professional insurance and hold a current National Crime clearance.

Supervision practice

Each supervisee will have their own needs and goals for supervision. It is critical that we develop a clarity about your needs in supervision. It is my experience that supervisees seek a safe and secure place to develop awareness and reflection on their practice or work. It is a privilege to journey with supervisees as their practice in their particular area of work unfolds and develops.

Appointment Duration

Supervision sessions are typically one hour in duration.

If you arrive early to your session, feel free to relax by the lake (100 metres from the office) and begin your reflections before the session. I prefer to begin sessions at the allocated time (not early) to allow myself thirty minutes of preparation and reflection before the supervision session.

Fees

As supervision is not a psychological service, it is not exempt from GST. Generally, I charge the current slightly below the APS recommended fee for one hour of service. At any point in time, that fee can be found on APS website. Currently I charge $280.00 plus GST.
